During Men's Fashion Week, a host of celebrities sat front row, injecting star power into the already highly anticipated runway shows.
Last week, the men's Spring 2025 shows, which included Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, Dior, and Ami, were attended by many celebrities, including Pharrell Williams, Maluma, Selma Blair, Sabrina Carpenter, and Colman Domingo.
Colombian musician Maluma attended several men's shows, including Kenzo, where he performed his new song “Contrato” and spoke about attending Men's Fashion Week.
“It’s a beautiful thing,” he said. “You know I came all the way here from Colombia. It’s been an amazing journey to get here and to showcase my culture. [and] It's all about us. I'm honored to be a part of this great movement.”
He later walked front row at Dior's Spring 2025 men's show, along with other celebrities including K-pop group Tomorrow X Together, Demi Moore, Kate Moss, Robert Pattinson and Brooklyn Beckham.
For the show, Maluma worked with stylist Ugo Moszy.
“It's all in the details,” he said of his outfit, which included a zip-up knit cardigan, wide-leg trousers and textured, sparkly overlay pieces.
Oscar-winning actor Casey Affleck was also in attendance at the Dior men's show, and spoke to WWD ahead of the show about his growing interest in fashion.
“I don't think the fast fashion world has contributed much in terms of history,” he said. [or a] “Dior has an important place in culture and the arts, it's a brand with a long history and they've been making really beautiful things for a long time, so I thought it was a good place to start.”
Williams' most recent Louis Vuitton men's show featured a star-studded front row, including Alicia Vikander, Michael Fassbender and Victor Wembanyama.
Also in attendance was musician Anderson .Paak, with the singer and rapper praising Williams' designs for the luxury brand ahead of the runway show.
“I feel like he's just touched the tip of the iceberg. As someone who grew up with him as an icon and musical influence, it's really amazing to see him now telling his story through fashion,” he said. “He's always done that, but to be able to see it to this level and to be here and wear it is just amazing.”
Domingo had high praise for Williams before the show, telling WWD: “This is my first Pharrell show. Nicholas [Ghesquière’s] “I've never done a womenswear show before, but being here now, the vibe is cool and sexy. The music is amazing. He's setting the tone. Pharrell is not only an incredible musician, but also a creative visionary, so you can already feel it.”
