It's time to play Presidential Debate Bingo! The game in which President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will face off in the first of two debates as they battle to win the White House in November. The debate is scheduled to begin at 9 PM EDT on Thursday.
The debate will air on CNN and CNN International and stream live on CNN.com. It will also be broadcast by Fox News and NewsNation. ABC News, which will host the second presidential debate in September, has announced that it will broadcast the first debate with pre- and post-debate analysis. The network's broadcast will be available to stream on Hulu from 7 pm to 12 am Thursday.
Moderated by CNN's Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, both presidential candidates had to agree to a set of rules before participating: The 90-minute debate would have two commercial breaks during which campaign staff would not be allowed to interact with the candidates; there would be no live studio audience at the debate, and the candidates' microphones would be muted until it was their turn to speak.
USA TODAY will also stream the debate on its YouTube channel.
Thursday's debate promises to be a fierce battle, marking the first time the two presidential front-runners have debated each other since 2020. The longtime rivals have been trading insults in recent days as they prepare for the showdown.
