Celebrities are constantly in the public eye, whether they are promoting their new movie or driving their car into the road while drunk. As car lovers, we don't really care about what Tom Hanks is doing today, but what about his car? What kind of car does Tom Hanks drive? Today, we will ask you about your favorite cars that celebrities drive. To make this question interesting, we will ask about cars that celebrities drive in movies and TV, or cars that celebrities own.
The answer to my question is that Tom Hanks apparently has some pretty good taste in cars. He previously owned a 1980 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, a 1992 Airstream Model 34 Limited Excela, and a 2011 Ford F-450 Super Duty. Hanks has also owned a Fiat 126P, an electric Scion xB, and a '90s Toyota RAV4 EV.
He's sold Airstreams, Land Cruisers, Tesla Model S's, and Super Duties. Unfortunately, we couldn't find out what cars he currently owns, but it seems like Hanks is a car enthusiast.
My answer to this question is unexpected. Are you ready? My favorite celebrity car is from the movie “The bus couldn't slow down.“Wait, that's actually speedYes, my favorite celebrity vehicle is the bus, and that movie bus may be one of the reasons why I still love buses so much.
General Motors knew how to give their transit buses an impressive look. Of course, buses don't have to look cool. Most transit buses today are boring bricks that just do their job. But it's nice to see manufacturers put in the extra effort to make their buses look good. In other words, public transportation doesn't have to look boring.
If you think about it, speedThe premise is ridiculous: a guy attaches a bomb to a bus that goes off at 50 mph and activates when the speed drops below 50 mph. It's ridiculous, but it makes for some great high-octane fun. Or maybe high-cetane, since we're talking about a diesel bus. I mean, where else are you going to see a bus jumping over a gap in an overpass?
Want to know a little storyline? speedThe problem was that the fuel gauges on the buses were unrealistic. I'm not talking about how quickly the buses run low on fuel, but about the existence of a fuel gauge. Many route buses, even the newer ones that are in service now, don't have fuel gauges. The buses have huge tanks, they have set routes, and they never run out of fuel during a shift. All of the New Looks I saw at the Illinois Railroad Museum didn't have a fuel gauge, and neither does my much newer 2002 RTS-06. Mine has a 120-gallon tank and a light that flashes when the bus thinks it's low on fuel. The drivers of my old New Looks didn't even have that.
Okay, enough about buses. What's your favorite car, bike, or other vehicle driven by a celebrity?
