Julia Roberts Actor's daughter Eric Robertsrevealed how the star, who is already linked to famous actors, singers and business executives, feels about the online comments and media attention surrounding her stepping into the entertainment industry.
The “American Horror Story” star spoke about the negative connotations of the term, which seems to be directed primarily at women in the industry. “People want to say, 'Oh, you have an advantage in this industry because you're part of a family,' but the flip side of that is, you have to prove yourself even more,” she said on iHeartMedia's Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast.
“Also, if you don't have good experiences with other people in your family, you're never going to get an opportunity,” she continued, “Everybody loves an overnight success story,” adding, “Unless you're the girl who made it from the country to Hollywood, people look at you in disbelief and say, 'So that's what your dad did.'”
