For a fairytale wedding, there's no better place than Rhode Island.
Venues in the Ocean State are truly spectacular: couples can choose from mansions, historic churches, waterfront views, vineyards and more when planning their big day.
Maybe that's why the nation's smallest state has hosted some big, star-studded weddings, like the nuptials of former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and NFL star Christian McCaffrey in Rhode Island this weekend.
To mark the occasion, here's a quick look at some other famous couples who chose Rhode Island for their wedding location.

In a truly star-studded wedding five years ago, Jennifer Lawrence chose Belcourt Castle, owned by Alex and Ani founder Carolyn Rafaelian, for her wedding to art gallery director Cooke Maroney. The wedding made national headlines and drew crowds outside the gates in search of celebrity spots, but no photos from inside the wedding have been released. What we do know is that the guest list included celebrities like Adele, Kris Jenner, and Cameron Diaz. Lawrence has only shared a few details about the wedding. For one, she was worried that guests would be cold throughout the reception. And for two, she gave permission for Robert De Niro, her co-star in several films, to leave early during the rehearsal dinner.
“I looked around and there was Bob, wandering around like he didn't know anybody, and I was like, 'No, he doesn't want to do this. I don't want him here,'” Lawrence told E! News. “So I went over to him and whispered to him, 'Go home.' He was nice and he talked to my parents and he was polite, but I said, 'Go home.'”
