Camila founded her own book club in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to build connection and community through reading. “The Queen's Reading Room is a charity working to celebrate and promote the power and benefits of reading, with a mission to help more people discover and connect with books that enrich their lives,” the charity's website states.
As well as a selection of books, the Queen's Reading Room will offer free educational content, host a literary festival and, in early 2024, launch its own podcast.
Emma Watson
The actress launched Our Shared Shelf in 2016, selecting feminist-themed books for readers to discuss. She previously worked with The Book Fairies, an organisation that places books in public places for people to pick up, read and then put back for others to find.
Jimmy Fallon
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon The host launched the Fallon Book Club in 2024. He launched the club by asking fans to vote for books to read together through a tournament-style online bracket.
Emma Roberts

Kaling will launch Mindy's Book Studio Club in 2022 in partnership with Amazon, celebrating “new and diverse voices in everything from innovative romantic comedies and inspiring coming-of-age stories to unforgettable suspense dramas with female leads,” the website said.

Rhimes' production company, Shondaland, has its own book club, and the group's website features book recommendations as well as interviews with authors of various books selected by the club.
