Celebrity hairstylist Tokyo Styles will be appearing on a just-announced reality TV show. Dance with Tokyo Styles A show on We TV and also streaming on ALLBLK, the eight-episode, half-hour documentary series promises to provide “an unvarnished look into the world of the 34-year-old celebrity hairstylist and entrepreneur.”
Tokyo specialised in sew-in hair extensions before switching to making wigs – her first celebrity client was Tamar Braxton, and her career took off when she started making wigs for Kylie Jenner, who discovered her on Instagram.
Logline: Dance with Tokyo Styles Tokyo takes center stage and follows her as she shapes hair dreams into reality, one strand at a time. The series gives viewers an inside look at Tokyo as she meets, curates, and installs wigs for high-profile clients, including Cardi B, Trina Braxton, Reginae Carter, TS Madison, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Ali Fletcher, Flo Milli, and more. Each episode showcases Tokyo's unique creative process, from the first stitch to the installation of the final transformation. Each wig presents its own challenges, and Tokyo must balance time between deadlines, client demands, and her life outside of the salon.
