Digital content creator Eva Amurri, the daughter of actress Susan Sarandon and film director Franco Amurri, is responding to online criticism of her wedding dress after marrying chef Ian Hoch over the weekend.
Amurri shared photos from the couple's wedding in a joint Instagram post with People magazine on Sunday. According to the magazine, Amurri wore a strapless white corseted dress by Kim Cassas, while Hock donned a custom navy blue suit and vest from The Suit Shop.
Amri's wedding dress sparked a fashion backlash in the comments section, with many criticizing the dress for accentuating Amri's cleavage.
The 39-year-old then took to her Instagram Story to post a cheeky response to her detractors. In a since-deleted post, Amri shared two pictures of her posing in a hockey suit and a wedding dress. The second photo showed a close-up of Amri's cleavage.

“And to all of you who are upset that my breasts aren't 'hidden'…” Amurri wrote, according to screenshots from People magazine and Entertainment Tonight. “Feel free to screenshot for later.”

Many people online thought Amri's choice of wedding dress was too revealing for the occasion.

Eva Amurri says she wants to 'feel sexy' in her wedding dress
Amurri married Haque in a “French garden party”-style ceremony at Windrift Hall in New York's Hudson Valley on Saturday, the couple confirmed to People magazine, and was attended by Amurri's mother, Sarandon, and her former partner, actor Tim Robbins.
Amurri, who has daughter Marlowe Mae and sons Major James and Matteo Antoni with ex-husband Kyle Martino, included her kids in the ceremony by having them perform a handfasting ceremony. “We wanted this whole thing to be centered around our little family and to be as focused on them as we are,” Amurri told the magazine. “All we really needed was a beautiful setting, those closest to us, and a delicious party.”

As for her wedding dress, which she bought from Bridal Reflections in New York City, Amri said the sexy dress suited all of her style.
“I love that it has a vintage feel, is not too pompous, and is very feminine,” Amri says. “I wanted it to feel sexy but elegant, and I think this dress hit the perfect balance.”
