Celebrities are all over the place in 2024. What's the latest venture that A-listers are trying? Alcohol.
It seems like just about everyone in Hollywood, from Kendall Jenner to George Clooney, is jumping on the alcohol bandwagon, which can make finding your next drink a little confusing.
That's where we come in. Here, we've rounded up the celebrity-endorsed alcoholic drinks that are worth your hard-earned money. Try them out below:
Margot Robbie's “Papa Salt Gin”
It would be untouchable Australian to not include Margot Robbie on this list. The Gold Coast native has become a household name in Hollywood and has collaborated with her husband Tom Ackerley and film industry friends Georgie McNamara, Regan Riskas and Charlie Mars to create a gin concoction called Papa Salt Gin. Featuring Australian botanicals and oyster shell (for a minerality) this flavoursome and refreshing gin pairs well with any mixer.
818 Tequila by Kendall Jenner
When Kendall Jenner launched 818 Tequila in 2021, it quickly became one of the Kar-Jenner family's most successful business ventures. So why does everyone love it? Besides the incredibly chic branding and killer marketing strategy, according to Kendall, it's all because of the ingredients. According to the 818 website, her tequila uses hand-picked Blue Weber agave that's slow-cooked for at least 30 hours before being crushed, extracted, fermented, distilled, and finally enjoyed.
Casamigos Añejo by George Clooney and Rande Gerber
While Casamigos Añejo is technically a celebrity-owned brand, it has recently gained recognition as a delicious tequila in its own right. Clooney and Gerber worked with longtime friend Mike Meldman to come up with a tequila that could be enjoyed without being masked by lime or salt, and thus Casamigos Añejo was born.
Teremana Tequila Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has officially entered the alcoholic beverage industry with Teremana Tequila, a premium, small-batch tequila. Launched to record success in 2020, Teremana is now rolling out to Australian stores and will be available in local retailers from July 2024.
Kylie Jenner's Sprinter
In 2024, Kylie Jenner followed in her sister Kendall's footsteps and founded a vodka seltzer brand called Splinter.
“Splinter is my answer to the growing consumer demand for high-quality canned cocktails,” the youngest Jenner said of their latest venture. “We're bringing an incredibly delicious canned vodka soda to a market that's dominated by very few companies.”
And like most of Kylie's creations, Sprinter has already been a huge success, with fans praising its simple ingredients: premium vodka, sparkling water, and real fruit juice.
Armand de Brignac by Jay-Z
Jay-Z's champagne line has a truly iconic origin story.
In 2006, Cristal Champagne manager Frédéric Rouzaud was asked for his opinion on Cristal's popularity among rappers, and reportedly replied, “What can we do? We can't stop people from buying it,” according to Forbes.
Many interpreted this response as somewhat racist, including Jay-Z, who quickly called for a boycott of Cristal. But to fill the void, the rapper bought French champagne company Armand de Brignac. And the rest, as they say, is history!
