A person well versed in America's past political landscape has criticised Joe Biden's letter to his party, believing it is “harmful” rather than helpful to the 46th President.
“I read the letter,” Bob Kerrey, a former Nebraska senator, governor and 1992 Democratic presidential candidate, said on “The Claman Countdown” on Monday.
“If I were a Democrat, I would call the White House and say, 'You made a mistake. You didn't send us this letter,'” he continued. “If I [whether] “Am I saying that if I can defeat Donald Trump, then I'm bad for democracy? That's patently false, selfish and unhelpful.”
Who increased the national debt: Biden or Trump?
President Biden on Monday morning called on his colleagues to stop questioning whether he should stop seeking reelection and to “move forward as a united party” to defeat former President Donald Trump in his 2024 reelection bid.
Biden also reiterated that he was “committed to continuing this campaign” and argued that further doubts about his candidacy “will only help Trump and hurt us.”
His fitness to be president has come into question following his poor performance in his first face-to-face debate with President Trump a week and a half ago.
Biden's halting delivery and faltering answers in the Atlanta contest have caused widespread panic within the Democratic Party, with public and private calls growing within the party for him to step down as the 2024 presidential candidate ahead of next month's Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

“And also, I think he's put himself in a position that he doesn't want to be in. He's telling people that they have to run,” he added.[so] When you run for office, tell people what you're going to do, rather than getting angry when people tell you you shouldn't run or questioning your patriotism when you do.”
