Bethenny Frankel is facing backlash after claiming that the Hamptons is home to minorities “not just rich people.”
“There are all kinds of people here. There's a big Latino community here. There's also an African-American community on the beach. There are beautiful homes,” she said in the TikTok.
“We had a house there one summer.”
The video quickly went viral, and “The View” co-host Ana Navarro quickly called out the former “RHONY” host for his racist comments.
“BREAKING: Not only white people can own money. There are wealthy black people and wealthy 'Latinx' people too,” Navarro, 52, responded in a tweet.
Other X (formerly Twitter) users echoed Navarro's criticism of Frankel, 53,'s demographic analysis.
“…because 'rich' means 'white'?” one follower responded.
“Black people have been living in the Hamptons for ages, and yes, some of them are wealthy,” another replied. “She needs to stop.”
“What happened to people just as human beings, not their skin colour or culture!” another questioned.
Frankel has yet to respond to the backlash, and a rep for the former Bravolebrity did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.
This isn't the first time the Skinnygirl founder's TikTok videos have landed her in trouble, with her admitting in previous videos that she was at risk of being “canceled.”
In September 2023, fans slammed Frankel after she gifted a $70 makeup palette to a store clerk because she “couldn't afford it.” When a fan asked why the clerk couldn't purchase it, Frankel explained, “Because she's a cashier at TJ Maxx.”
The “Just B With Bethenny Frankel” host angered many fans who slammed her for her “tone deaf” comments.
“So ignorant. If you're a cashier at TJ Maxx you can pay if you save up. Comes across as arrogant and rude,” one user commented, while another added, “Bethenny is tone deaf. Stop it!”
Frankel's friend-turned-nemesis, Carole Radziwill, also condemned her actions.
“Who sent me this? LOL. Stop with this nonsense. There's so much to unravel and I'm not getting paid to do it anymore. But here's one 'word'… #whitesaviorcomplex,” Radziwill tweeted in response to the TikTok video on Friday.
