Vance at Republican National Convention “It's an honor to have my name put forward and to have gone through that process, and we have a lot of opportunity to serve,” Stefanik said during a press conference with other members of the New York Republican delegation. “I think the American people are going to be very excited to hear Senator Vance speak on Wednesday night,” Stefanik said. When asked by reporters, Stefanik declined to say whether she discussed Cabinet posts during her recent phone call with Trump on Sunday morning.
