Kate Hudson spoke about the celebrities who sent her DMs during her break from dating. While appearing on the Call Me Daddy podcast, the actress spoke candidly about taking a year off from dating men in their 30s. Hudson claimed that various men in the industry had been hitting on her. The 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' actress said that while she was flattered that men would go out of their way to send her DMs, there were just too many guys to count at the time.
Hudson claimed that she also had to take a break from dating. Eventually, the Hollywood star met Danny Fujikawa and the two have been engaged since 2021.
Kate Hudson opens up about dating hiatus
While chatting with Andy Cohen on a recent episode of What Happens Live, the actress said that she received a ton of direct messages from celebrities during her hiatus from dating. When the host asked about the men who were trying their luck while single, the Bride Wars actress replied, “Oh yeah. You know, it's a great way to meet people and it's a great thing that's great for your self-esteem. Like, 'Oh, that guy snuck in.' But I did get a ton of direct messages.” [of DMs]”I like flirting, so I had to go a year without flirting. Ah, that's it.”
Hudson also spoke about her engagement to Danny Fujikawa, insisting that she doesn't want to repeat the same pattern. During her conversation with Cohen, the Glass Onion actress revealed that taking a break from dating and then being single for three years helped her re-evaluate her relationship with her fiancé.
During the interview, Hudson also described her partner as a wonderful man.

Hudson was full of praise for her fiancé throughout her conversation with Cohen: “He has such strong values and is such a great guy. I don't think I would have ever accepted him if I hadn't had those three years where I was so happy alone,” she said.
Hudson and Fujikawa were spotted kissing in 2017, sparking dating rumors. In 2020, the two went public with their relationship, with Hudson telling People magazine, “He makes me feel beautiful all day, even when we fight.”
The Hollywood star was previously married to Chris Robinson for seven years.
