July 15
Theft: 12:56 p.m., 800 block of Almarida Drive. Victim left her vehicle unlocked overnight and had her wallet, clothes and credit cards stolen. Suspect(s) charged the credit card.
Child Abuse, DUI: 12:27 a.m., Salmer Avenue and Harrison Avenue. A man was contacted during a traffic stop and found to be driving while intoxicated. A 2-year-old child was in the vehicle.
Vehicle theft: At 3 p.m., Michael Drive and Union Avenue, a red 2021 Chevrolet Camaro was stolen.
July 16
Robbery, assault: 4:24 a.m., 1200 block of Camden Avenue. A pimp grabbed the victim's arm and took her cellphone from her hand.
Burglary: 3:40 a.m., 100 block of East Hamilton Avenue. A man broke a glass door to enter the building, then entered through another door leading to an office area, stealing several items and fleeing.
Unlawful Activity: 9:31 p.m., 00 block of West Hamilton Avenue. A male was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the building. The male was found to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself or others. The male also had a $5,000 misdemeanor warrant out of the City of San Jose for trespassing.
July 17
Possession of a controlled substance, burglary tools and tear gas weapon: 1:57 a.m., 2200 block of Winchester Boulevard. A woman and man were collecting recycling. The man had a $50,000 warrant out of the city of San Jose and was in possession of burglary tools and property not his own. The woman, a convicted felony, was in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and pepper spray.
Burglary, theft: 3:48 a.m., 700 block of West Hamilton Avenue. Three suspects entered the business through the rear. A cash register with approximately $50 in coins was stolen.
July 18
Theft: 2500 block of Winchester Boulevard. Someone stole a rooster sculpture in front of a business.
Retail Theft: 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue. Three females placed items in bags and stole from a store.
Assault with a deadly weapon: 6:38 p.m., Pollard Road and Peachtree Court: Someone drove toward the victim and attempted to strike him with a silver Chevrolet Cruze.
Robbery: 600 block of East Campbell Avenue. Three victims were surrounded by three suspects they said were involved in gang activity. One of the suspects punched the victim, causing visible injuries, and stole his cash and wallet.
DUI: South Winchester Boulevard and East Rincon Avenue. A woman was pulled over driving at night without her headlights on and found to be driving under the influence.
July 19th
Fraud/theft: 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue. Someone impersonated the fire chief and told an employee they owed a $50,000 fine. The employee gave the suspect $48,307 in cash.
Petit theft: 1800 block of South Bascom Ave. The victim discovered her wallet had been stolen and credit cards in her wallet had been used to purchase approximately $2,500.
Vehicle theft: 1200 block of White Oaks Road. Someone rented a Chevrolet Silverado truck for a day and did not return it on time.
Robbery, Assault with Serious Injury, Child Abuse: 100 block of Llewellyn Street. The suspect assaulted two victims. One victim suffered a cut that required stitches and the other sustained an injury to his leg while trying to help the first victim. The suspect took the first victim's cell phone and threw it to the ground and threatened to kill both victims. The suspect is being held under a Peaceful Contact Order with the victims. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
July 20
Burglary: 7 p.m., 1300 block of Abbott Avenue. Someone burglarized the victim's home.
DUI, possession of more than one ounce of marijuana: 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue. A male exhibited signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication and was found to be driving under the influence and in possession of more than one ounce of marijuana.
Petit larceny: 200 block of Hollis Avenue. A bicycle was stolen from the front porch of a residence.
