- Mark Zuckerberg has compiled a collection of AI-generated photos of himself in different outfits.
- The imagery created by Meta AI also showed him entwined in an enormous gold chain.
- Zuckerberg has experimented with his own personal style.
Mark Zuckerberg may be looking for his next style era after being questioned on the internet on tuesday Choose from four photos of him in AI-generated outfits.
Images created with Meta AI show Zuckerberg wearing a ludicrously large gold chain, looking like a member of *NSYNC (and Charlie Puth) on stage, dressed as a suave streetwear designer, and dressed as what Zuckerberg called a “video game character” in a blue cap and vest.
The costume experiment came on the same day that Meta released the latest version of its AI model, Llama 3.1, which lets users create AI-generated images based on their own selfies, though Zuckerberg declined to say whether he used the feature.
“Which one drips the most?” Zuckerberg asked in a thread on his social media site.
The weird bike chain image was a fan favorite, winning with 34% of the vote — which makes sense given the internet's positive reaction to Zuckerberg's recent penchant for wearing oversized plain T-shirts and gold chains.
Zuckerberg's recent style evolution has been a hot topic online.
When his new look, dubbed “Mob Chic,” emerged, people tried to edit his facial hair to make him look like Jack Harlow.
“Bearded Zack will be emperor of the world within months, if not weeks,” one person said. I have written X posted a comment in response to an edited photo of Zuckerberg rocking his chin hair.
The Silicon Valley billionaire, who was once known for wearing a black hoodie and a gray T-shirt, now appears to be embracing the joke.
At his 40th birthday party in May, he wore a gold chain and a black shirt with the words “Carthago delenda est” in Old English script, a message written in Latin that translates to “Carthage must be destroyed.”
Moving beyond his own style, Zuckerberg may even get into the streetwear business himself.
Last year, the tech company announced a partnership with eyewear maker Ray-Ban on AI-powered smart glasses, and The Wall Street Journal reported that Meta is in talks to buy a stake in Ray-Ban's parent company, EssilorLuxottica, which announced it would acquire popular Gen Z streetwear brand Supreme.
According to the Financial Times, Meta will partner with Supreme to launch a new version of its smart glasses targeted at a younger, more stylish customer base.
