As the third annual SCAD Film Festival drew to a close in Lacoste, Provence, the British writer and director made a surprise guest appearance. For those who don't know, SCAD is Savannah College of Art and Design is a private art school founded in 1978 with locations in Savannah, Georgia, Atlanta, Georgia, and Lacoste, France.
Since “discovering” Lacoste in 2002 and renovating what was once a prehistoric and medieval ruin, the small town is now thriving thanks to major investments in developing the campus, with plans to expand further and acquire new buildings.
This year's event is free to the public and will include outdoor screenings, one-on-one interviews and awards presentations.
