Many sports and entertainment stars graced the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, including NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, who will also be taking part in the live Olympic broadcast.

Special Ceremony in Paris
The Seine was transformed into a giant theatre as around 100 boats carrying thousands of athletes from over 200 countries paraded along a six kilometre stretch in front of spectators lining the riverbanks.
Prelude to the Olympics
Earlier, Louis Vuitton hosted an Olympic Eve Gala at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. The event was hosted by Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour, and also featured celebrities such as actress Charlize Theron, rapper Snoop Dogg, sports icon Serena Williams, Spanish singer Rosalía, and French actor Omar Sy. The guest list included a host of celebrities.
Snoop Dogg also surprised fans around the world by carrying the iconic Olympic Torch before the start of the Opening Ceremony.
All of these celebrities attended the opening ceremony and walked the red carpet.
Great performance at the ceremony
The glitzy opening ceremony featured performances from big name artists such as Lady Gaga and Malian-French singer Aya Nakamura, who continued to entertain spectators and fans around the world as each country toured the route.
The ceremony also included several other performances, introducing attendees to traditional French buildings and iconic moments through the years.
