Steve Schirripa enjoyed meatballs at Longo Ristorante Pizzeria in Westerly.
Actor Steve Schirripa, known for his roles in “The Sopranos” and “Blue Bloods,” has been a regular at Longo's in Westerly for many years.
Schirripa most recently visited the pizzeria in February, enjoying some meatballs with his dog, Willie.
In a video posted to Longo's Instagram page, Schirripa called the dish “the best meatballs I've ever eaten.”
Jamie Lee Curtis endorses Providence's Seven Stars Bakery and more
Earlier this year, Jamie Lee Curtis took to Instagram to share some of her favorite places to eat in Providence while filming her new movie, “Ella McKay.”
Curtis recommended some of his readers' favorite local bakeries: Seven Stars Bakery was named one of the best coffee shops in Rhode Island.
The actress wrote that Seven Stars Bakery is a place she “goes to every day,” where she “feels inspired, caffeinated, full, collaborative and happy.”
She also said that during filming, Curtis hosted dinner for the film's cast at New Rivers Bow in Providence, and she recommended the restaurant's roast chicken and lobster rolls.
She also recommended Little Sister of Providence for brunch.
Woody Harrelson enjoyed a beer at Lang's Bowlerama in Cranston
Actor Woody Harrelson, who was also in town filming the movie “Ella McKay,” stopped by Lang's Bowlarama with his family in February.
The actor was spotted having a beer at a bowling alley in Cranston.
Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey were visiting a family friend in Twin Oaks in Cranston.
Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey hit up Twin Oaks Restaurant in Cranston in March ahead of their star-studded June wedding in Watch Hill.
Twin Oaks owner Susan DeAngelas Valles said it was McCaffrey's first time at the restaurant at the time, so the former Miss Universe gave him a tour of the place.
Valles said the couple was attending Valles' daughter's baby shower with Culpo's mother.
Dave Portnoy Brings One Bite Pizza Revue to Rhode Island
In January, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy brought his famous One Bite Pizza Review series to Rhode Island.
Portnoy visited two pizza restaurants in Providence, Francesco's Pizzeria and Nice Slice Pizzeria.
He also made stops at Merlino's Pizzeria in Cranston and D. Palmieri's Bakery in Johnston.
