“It was an honor to know you and to be loved by you,” Venice continued, “I pray every day that you may rest in peace. I pray for my children and Tito Elvis and that you be the best you can be to your daughters. Your passing leaves a hole in this family that can never be filled and I am so grateful for all the memories we shared.”
Lorin remembered Alexa as “very sweet, positive and had faith in the Lord” as she fought cancer despite her diagnosis, and thanked her for letting her be a “junior bridesmaid” in her wedding.
“I never wanted to know a world without you in it. You are such an easy person to love that saying goodbye was the hardest thing I've ever experienced. I missed you the moment you left. Our family will not be the same without you,” she added.
