Social media has played a role, from getting into the hands of celebrities to being featured on TV. A home-grown boutique is being featured on the world stage at the Paris 2024 Olympics. It's one thing to see our jewelry online; it's a whole other story to see it on TV. It's all about the bling and the sparkle. We love to inspire people to not only look good on the outside, but also on the inside. We value inclusivity and kindness, and of course, the bling and the sparkle. When Hannah Barnhouse started making jewelry in her kitchen in the middle of the pandemic, she didn't know what fame she would gain. Now, our smash hit Feed Me Gems are worn by many celebrities. Paris Hilton was a customer when we bought them, and she found us online, commented on a bunch of pictures, and said, “I love your beautiful jewelry!” I thought, “Oh my God, is this for real?” Most recently, the wife of gold medalist Caleb Dressel was spotted wearing our earrings at the Paris Olympics on Sunday. We had no idea that Megan Dressel was going to wear this. But she was a customer. She found us on social media, bought this jewelry, and wore it on stage next to Snoop Dogg. We were like, “What is going on?” And immediately, their inbox was flooded with curious emails. “Give us jewelry!” The wife of a swimming superstar wore earrings that sold out. Our inbox was filled with direct messages from equally excited customers who were like, “Oh my God, I feel like your jewelry is on TV.” She said, “I'm going to wear it right now.” That's the power of social media. You really never know who's going to see your posts. It could be your new best friend who lives down the street. It could be a group of girls having a bachelorette party. It could be Paris Hilton. It could be an Olympian. You just never know.
