On Tuesday night in Paris, Team USA women's gymnastics showed a dominant performance en route to winning another gold medal in the team final, marking an unlikely comeback for both Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee, who were hit with health scares following the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. It was more than enough for USA's Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey, who both did their part.
Not surprisingly, Biles was the last member of the U.S. team to take to the court, and her performance was the perfect cap to a (same) gold medal win in France, the United States' first in the event since 2016.
While the result may have been expected, it was nothing short of amazing that the American stars could actually achieve the feat, which is perhaps why so many celebrities flocked to Paris to watch the team event in person.
