Many celebrities will take to the starting line for the 2024 London Marathon.
The annual event will be held in the capital on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Here are the celebrities scheduled to attend this year's event:
Who are the celebrities running the London Marathon?
Romesh Ranganathan
Romesh Ranganathan will make his London Marathon debut this year.
He will be a patron of the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) from October 2023, working to support the mental health helpline charity.
emma barton and jamie borthwick
Emma Barton and Jamie Borthwick have already run the London Marathon, but this will be their second time due to their EastEnders storyline.
Their characters, Honey and Jay, work in memory of Jay's wife Laura, who died of brain cancer in the 2023 storyline.
chloe meadows
After revealing her ulcerative colitis diagnosis during Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Week in December 2023, Chloe Meadows from The Only Way is Essex goes to support Crohn's and Colitis UK Challenge yourself to run a marathon.
She was diagnosed with colitis six years ago and is now raising awareness about the disease.

Actor Phil Dunster will take on the London Marathon for the first time to save his young life and fight cancer.
His cousin's son Rory was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of four months and the charity helped his family.
Natalie Pinkham
Sky Sports F1 presenter and Flakstock co-founder Natalie Pinkham is running a marathon for Samaritans in memory of her friend Caroline Flack.
She said: “Samaritans is one of the charities we support at Flakstock and I love everything it stands for.”

This isn't Joshua Patterson's first marathon, but it's his first time running the London Marathon.
He broke the record by running one in 76 cities in the UK in 76 days and recently completed the LA Marathon.
Izzy Christiansen
Izzy Christiansen hopes to raise awareness of bowel cancer as she runs the London Marathon in memory of her aunt.
The England midfielder told BBC Sport: “I lost my aunt to bowel cancer 18 months ago.
“I was really, really close to her, but it was a really difficult time.
“When I finished playing soccer, I was determined to do some fundraising.”

Britain's richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, plans to run the 2024 London Marathon.
He appeared on Geraint Thomas' podcast and talked about his marathon experience.
he said: “It's approaching 40. My project certainly doesn't include 40!”
“I went to London last year. I went for four and a half hours. I'm going to London again this year. Only six weeks left.”
“I trained for London last year and I had a problem with my hamstring. I was out for five weeks and didn't have much time to retrain. I went to Africa and it was really warm and I gave it a try. It was okay.”
“The exact same thing happened this year. I started training for London a week ago because I was out for five weeks with my hamstring. It's not that long. I have to work hard.”
