My concern is that more and more people are saying they're just going to stay home on November 5th because they don't feel like voting for either candidate. Voting is the backbone of democracy, but it seems like a dangerous proposition. While the expression “freedom is not freedom” has become a cliché, it should be a reminder that the least we can do to protect her 200+ year experiment in American government is to vote. is not it. A candidate is chosen as the lesser of two evils.

Please think twice before opting out of the process of choosing your next president. No American should assume that our democratic republic and belief in the rule of law will stand alone forever, especially in the face of blatant attack. Policies will come and go, but we must elect leaders who embrace principles such as truth, compromise, decency, and basic respect for our fellow citizens and humanity as a whole.
