This weekend, fans will be celebrating all things pop culture in Indianapolis. PopCon's chairman said this is an event that will entertain “nerds, gamers and your inner child alike.”

2024 PopCon doors open in downtown Indianapolis
On Friday, hundreds of people could be seen walking through the Indiana State Convention Center dressed as superheroes and villains, cartoon and video game characters, Star Wars Jedi and Star Trek science officers, and more. It was for the love of geek culture, which is more popular than ever.

When is Popcon Indy held?
Doors opened at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis on Friday, April 26 at 1 p.m. Open until 7pm on Fridays. Weekend hours are 10:30 AM to 7 PM on Saturday and 10:30 AM to 5 PM on Sunday.
What is popcon?
PopCon Indy is a convention that celebrates all things pop culture. Fans with tastes in films such as The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, superhero movies, TV shows such as Star Trek, fantasy books, tabletop games, video games, anime, manga, cosplay, etc. – An “otaku” If you can, find it at Popcon.

The Indiana Convention Center will feature autographs and photo opportunities with many celebrities from Friday through Sunday. Autograph prices vary for each celebrity guest. PopCon Indy has great news for fans of The Lord of the Rings, Power Rangers, and The Walking Dead. Many of your favorite celebrities associated with these series will be in Indianapolis and available to sign autographs. They include:
PopCon Indy 2024 voice actor: Jim Cummings. Stars of anime such as Naruto, My Hero Academia, and Dragon Ball
Many people may not know the name Jim Cummings, but they've probably heard his voice. Cummings has brought to life dozens of animated characters and played hundreds of different roles during his more than 40-year career. Some of his more memorable credits include voice roles for Disney's Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Darkwing Duck, and Warner Bros. Taz the Tasmanian devil.Related embed (ID: 73301399007)
Cummings will be appearing at this year's PopCon Indy along with other talented voice actors.
Other special guests arriving at the convention include comic book creator Dee Parson of the YouTube group The Normies, and Roger Clarke, who provided the voice of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 .
