The administration also reported that in 2022, there were 1.1 million small businesses across Pennsylvania, accounting for 99.6% of all businesses in the state. Today I visited Susquehanna Glass Company, which is celebrating its 114th year here in Lancaster County. The president spoke about the impact businesses have on communities. We are embedded in this community. Half of my employees, he's been working for me for 10, 15 years, and almost half of my employees are within walking distance, and in fact, many of them walk to work. Well, if you were to go through Columbia and stop someone, within three to five minutes you would find out that someone used to work at the Susquehanna Glass Company. If they don't work or someone in their family has never worked here. That's what it is, that's history. Susquehanna Glass Company specializes in customized glassware, barware and gifts and has been in business for 114 years in Lancaster County.
