Celebrities are speaking out after a disturbing video was released Friday that allegedly shows Sean “Diddy” Combs punching his then-girlfriend Kathy Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel several years ago. He was denounced on Friday.
CNN, which obtained the footage, said the incident took place on March 5, 2016 at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.
The video allegedly shows Combs chasing Ventura down a hallway and catching up with her as she waits for the elevator.
Combs allegedly grabbed her, threw her to the ground, kicked her and tried to pull her back to the hotel room. Her man then apparently pushed her into a corner before sitting on a chair near her and throwing her things at her.

Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski responded to X's video post by writing, “Monster.”
Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, posted on X: “Throw Diddy in jail. Throw away the key. To anyone who had this video and kept their mouth shut, throw away the key. I mean holy shit.”
ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith said Combs' career was “over” after the release of the video, which was viewed tens of millions of times on social media in just an hour.

The video's release comes after federal law enforcement agents from the Department of Homeland Security raided two homes owned by Combs in March in connection with an investigation into sex trafficking allegations.
