House Wines plans 'new chapter' on South First Street
In an Instagram post, House Wine announced its move from 408 Josephine St., saying it was “the beginning of a new chapter.” Eater Austin later reported that May 27 would be House Wine's last day and that the restaurant was looking for a new location following the death of its landlord.
House Wine didn't reveal the new location in its Instagram post, but Eater Austin reports that the bar is set to open at 1711 South First Street in Bouldin Creek in late June.
The bar will hold a 16th anniversary celebration on May 18th, with May 27th being its final open mic night.
