Ah, the Monaco Grand Prix! It couldn't come at a better time as defending champion Red Bull finally faces off against their rivals. McLaren has caught up with Red Bull and Max Verstappen has to wake up and sleep. As the competition gets interesting again, more and more celebrities are getting into the sport. It's now common to see many A-list celebrities on the circuit, making the Monaco Grand Prix an event not to be missed.
The recent F1 boom, driven by Netflix's Drive to Survive, has many people now interested in a sport that was previously unrelated to them, including celebrities. Last year, a star-studded cast gathered in Monaco to enjoy the race and watch Max Verstappen win. This year, that may be different, as McLaren is blisteringly fast. Last year, names like Tom Holland, Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian were in the paddock, but who will we see this year?

A special guest was at the Monaco Grand Prix to support Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes garage: football legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The Golden Shoe footballer is a frequent attendee at the Monaco Grand Prix and was spotted at the 2019 event.
The list of guests invited to the Mercedes paddock included film director George Lucas as Toto Wolff, giving a special explanation of how F1 works. It's hard to talk about any celebrity event without mentioning a Kardashian or Jenner, but to fill the void, Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble were in the paddock.
Roger Federer is in Paris for a brand event, but the tennis player also recently signed a contract with Mercedes. He will not be in Paris for Miami or the Imola Grand Prix weekend, as he is expected to stop in Monaco to continue talks with Toto Wolff.
But it doesn't end there: apart from the few celebrities in attendance, it would be unfair to not take into account the artists who will be performing at the event. Two DJs, Fatman Scoop and Jax Jones, will be rocking the crowd with a “Diamond Table Package” at a party limited to 10 people.
Taylor Swift at the Monaco Grand Prix
At the Miami Grand Prix, we saw Travis Kelcy taking part in the race, but something felt a bit odd as Taylor Swift was not in attendance at the event. The sensational pop star is currently touring the world as part of her Eras Tour, keeping her busy throughout Miami Weekend, but luckily has the time during the Monaco Grand Prix.
Taylor Swift is reportedly set to meet up with her Super Bowl winner boyfriend in Portugal, where she'll be performing for two days before heading to the race on Sunday, which is great news for Swift fans as there are fans of the pop star on the grid as well.
Max Verstappen also recently spoke about Taylor Swift's Eraser tour, explaining that fans shouldn't think about the negative impacts of the pop star's tour, especially in the sense that the logistics involved have raised concerns that the overall plan isn't environmentally friendly enough.
Verstappen said F1's very similar and wasteful structure makes the mission of achieving zero net carbon emissions an ideal situation rather than something that is achievable.
These are just a few of the people who come to Monaco, but the race weekend sees A-list celebrities flocking to the circuit. Last year, a star-studded line-up from artists to actors all descended on Monaco for the Grand Prix weekend.

There was no shortage of celebrities in the crowds at the F1 races last year. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas were spotted enjoying the race from a balcony in Monaco, a classic way to enjoy the weekend. Tom Holland also watched the Monaco Grand Prix with his brother Paddy Holland, and it was Spider-Man himself who waved the chequered flag.
Australian singer Kylie Minogue also attended the Grand Prix, demonstrating her interest in the pinnacle of motorsport, while Neimaye Jr. was hanging out with the Red Bull team in Monaco.

Speaking of actors, you think Spider-Man is the only one? David Harbour from Stranger Things watched the event from a balcony. Orlando Bloom is someone who needs an introduction and his sighting at the Monaco Grand Prix got fans excited. But in the Mercedes garage, guest Chris Rock must have had a hard time containing his laughter as he visited Toto Wolff.
