The latest polls ahead of the 2024 presidential election show just how tight the race remains between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
A national poll of registered voters by Marquette Law School shows Biden and Trump tied at 50% each in two-candidate races. Trump has a slight lead in five-candidate races, with Biden receiving 40% to 37%, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. receiving 17%, and Jill Stein and Cornel West each receiving 3%. The 50-50 split in the May poll is exactly the same as the March result between the top two candidates, pollsters said.
