The latest presidential polls show Donald Trump holding a slim lead over Joe Biden.
A YouGov poll conducted for The Economist found that 46% of respondents supported Trump and 45% supported Biden. Adding independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy did not change Trump's one percentage point advantage, with 41% for Trump, 40% for Biden, 4% for Kennedy and 15% saying they were unsure or did not plan to vote.

Democrats overwhelmingly supported Biden (86%), while 85% of Republicans backed Trump. Kennedy was favored by 8% of independents, compared with 37% who supported Trump and 24% who said they would vote for Biden. Among Republicans, Kennedy was supported by 4% of voters, compared with 2% of Democrats.
Biden outperformed Trump among voters aged 18-29 and 30-44, but lost out among those aged 45-64 and, most notably, those over 65, with Trump leading by 15 percentage points.
Trump's one-point lead is roughly the same as the lead in FiveThirtyEight's collection of presidential polls, which has the Republican front-runner at 41.1%, Democrat Biden at 39.9% and Kennedy at 9.9%. FiveThirtyEight.com notes that 95% of the averages of all the polls it tracks fall within that range.
Trump has a lead in all of the most recent polls tracked by the site, except for a head-to-head Emerson College poll conducted May 21-23, which showed the two front-runners tied, but when Kennedy is included, Trump's lead jumps to 5 percentage points.
