MOUNDSVILLE – The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of its first annual Business Entrepreneur Pitch Contest.
The contest, held recently in Grand View Park, awarded $7,000 in cash and prizes: First place was Axe Hole, second place was Butter Me Cookies, third place was Wright Way Mobile Massage and fourth place was Comfort for Angels.
“Congratulations to all the participants, judges, sponsors and attendees of the Kickstart Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Business Entrepreneur Pitch Contest,” said Scott Rieger, Director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce. “The event was a huge success. Plus, the crowd favorite of the night was Right Way Mobile Massage. We're proud that all of the participants won cash and prizes. Thank you all for making this event a memorable one.”
The competition was aimed at people considering starting a new business or expanding an existing business.
To be eligible, people had to plan to set up a business in Marshall County or contribute to the area through their business offerings.
