HYDE PARK, N.Y. — The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum will host its 20th annual Roosevelt Reading Festival on Saturday, June 22, from 9:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The program will feature recently published works from 14 authors. The event will include a special afternoon lecture by Paul M. Sparrow, author of “Awakening the Spirit of America: The Quarrel Between President Franklin Roosevelt and Charles Lindbergh and the Fight to Save Democracy.”
The festival will be held at the Henry A. Wallace Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Residence, 4079 Albany Post Road (US Route 9). This is a free, public event and no registration is required.
Six concurrent sessions throughout the day will feature talks by 14 authors whose work draws from the Roosevelt Library archives or focuses on the Roosevelt era, followed by Q&A and book signings. All of the authors' books will be available for sale in the New Deal Store. The program will begin with coffee and snacks.
