The Superintendent approves site plans for business establishments and lots.

The Lafayette Parish Board of Supervisors approved several site plans, both preliminary and final, including new restaurants in the parish during its regular meeting Monday.
County Line Grill will be built along Highway 310 near the Panola County line, and owners Ricky and Penny Roberts have received final site plan approval from supervisors.
Old Oaks of Oxford, located on County Road 217 (Campground Road), has received final commercial zoning approval for Phase 10. The final phase consists of 19 lots.
“They've been very exemplary in running their business locally and are doing well,” said Joel Hollowell, director of development services.
The Merion Subdivision has received preliminary subdivision plan approval for its second phase.
In 2021, Merion Subdivision received a conditional use permit for 146 subdivision lots. In July 2023, it received final approval for 49 lots in Phase 1.
“Sales are going well,” Hollowell said, “with 21 homes sold as of May 17, and many more under construction and well underway. An additional 57 lots are due to be sold in the second phase.”
The commission also approved preliminary and final site plans for the future Pine Crest Cove subdivision along CR 217. The developer plans to build 15 one-bedroom homes and 15 two-bedroom homes.
