It was the first time that a BJP MP from Mandi attended the ceremony where Prime Minister Modi took oath for his third term.

Actor Rajinikanth was present at the forecourt of the Presidential Palace for the swearing-in ceremony.

Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini, who was elected from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, was also present at the swearing-in ceremony.

“It is a cause of joy for all of us to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking oath as Prime Minister for the third time. Whatever the remaining work is, I will ensure that it is completed in my third term,” she said. (Photo: ANI)
