Social media influencer Wolfi Javed is known not only for his quirky outfits but also for his outspoken opinions. Recently, a video of him slamming some Bollywood celebrities who call themselves middle class in an attempt to connect with his audience went viral.
“It really pisses me off when rich celebrities pretend they're middle class and came from a poor background. That bitch, we all know you were rich,” she complained in an interview with Instant Bollywood.I'm a middle class guy, I'm not a first class guy, I'm not an economy class guy. She added: “When rich celebrities pretend to be middle class, they resonate with the audience and they really want the audience to resonate with them. They still pretend to be middle class but claim to be stingy and not spend money. Then why are you earning money? You have a job. I don't like these tantrums. Just be yourself. It's okay to have money and it's okay to spend it.”
Though Woofi did not name any celebrities, her remarks were likely directed at Alia Bhatt and Sara Ali Khan. In an earlier interview, Alia's mother had said Soni Razdan said she raised Alia and her sister Shaheen Bhatt in a middle-class family by flying them to Dubai in economy class.Similarly, Sara Ali Khan described herself in an interview as follows: Very “middle class” and “kanjoo” (Stingy).
