Twelve Columbia business owners will be featured at the 10th annual ShowMe Leadercast event on Wednesday. The event will be held at the Columbia Woodcrest Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
The leaders will take to the stage in a simulcast with four business speakers and leadership experts. They are:
- Rory Vaden, New York Times bestselling author and founder of Brand Builders Group
- David Holsager, Wall Street Journal bestselling author and CEO of the Trust Edge Leadership Institute
- Nicole Walters, author and podcaster
- Ari Weinzweig, founding partner of Zingerman's Community of Businesses
Nationally renowned leaders will speak on goal setting, strong leadership habits, building trust within your team, and creating a vision.
Event organiser Fred Parry said there would be opportunities for “audience interaction, great prizes and games”.
“This is a great way to not only reinvigorate and rejuvenate key members of staff, but also to increase a sense of collaboration within the team,” Parry said.
Local leaders participating in the event include Columbia Police Chief Jill Schroed, Boone County Sheriff Dwayne Carey and UM Board of Curators Chair Robin Wenneker.
