Harry Daniels, who has built a following on TikTok by awkwardly serenading celebrities and recording their reactions, has signed with UTA.
After singing off-key songs to jaw-dropping celebrities, Daniels now plans to create and market her own music, and Hollywood talent, entertainment and sports company UTA has stepped in to secure new opportunities for the celebrity serenader across digital, audio/podcast music and other platforms.
On TikTok, Daniels has approached and performed songs with many artists, including Paris Hilton, Kylie Minogue, Billie Eilish, Jessica Chastain, Julia Fox, Sabrina Carpenter and Dua Lipa, and has amassed more than 1.3 million followers on the platform.
He also approached a smiling U.S. President Joe Biden at a Radio City Hall fundraiser, where he sang Lana Del Rey's ” national anthem.
While Daniels appears to be poking fun at showbiz stars, he often manages to impress them by belting out his songs, and even receives words of praise and gratitude at the end of his TikTok videos from celebrities who are often surrounded by security guards and crave privacy in public.
The entertainment industry is increasingly using TikTok as a promotional tool, and Daniels has landed face-to-face encounters with celebrities on the street, on the red carpet and even at Coachella (where she got backstage access).
UTA, which already works with Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs and HBO Max on brand marketing, will now represent Daniels on all fronts. Daniels will continue to be repped by Align PR.
