Donald Trump turns 78 today and is reportedly planning to celebrate at his fan club, Club 47, in West Palm Beach, Fla. Attendees pay between $35 and $60 for the pleasure of fawning over the presidential candidate.
President Trump, a Republican, returned to Washington, D.C. on Thursday and met with Republican members of the House and Senate. The Republicans presented him with a cake with 47 candles in honor of his hopes of becoming the 47th president of the United States.
Trump spoke about issues such as abortion and immigration during his meeting with lawmakers, but drew ire after he was reported to have called Milwaukee “terrible” a month before the Republican National Convention.
The former president interviewed social media celebrity Logan Paul. Impulsive The podcast also ended yesterday.
The segment began with a question about Trump's felony conviction and why he was running again, before Trump unleashed a string of false accusations he's familiar with at his rallies, before moving on to a wide range of topics, from his upcoming CNN debate to aliens, AI, Taylor Swift and the rap feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

Being a year older won't help Trump's claims that he remains young at heart and mentally active, and that Joe Biden, at 81, is too old or cognitively impaired to be fit for the White House.
Fox News' Jesse Watters is trying to preempt the argument that President Trump's recent rants about electric boats and sharks are actually just “common sense” that has been unfairly distorted by the media.
And for balance, here are Michael Cohen's expletive-filled thoughts on the same incident.
In case you missed that outlandish anecdote from the recent Las Vegas rally, here is my report on the reaction.

Supreme Court rules that “Trump is too small” cannot be trademarked
A man's attempt to trademark the phrase “TRUMP TOO SMALL” failed when the Supreme Court ruled that a law protecting a person's name from being trademarked without their consent does not violate the First Amendment.
Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in a unanimous decision Thursday that the law limiting trademarking of names reflects a “historic rationale for identifying the source of goods” to ensure “customers know the source of those goods.”
“Political parties have no First Amendment right to piggyback on the goodwill that other groups have built in their name,” Justice Thomas added.

Liz Cheney responds to Trump-McConnell reconciliation
Former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney appeared on X to share her thoughts on the reconciliation that has taken place between Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and former President Donald Trump since December 2020, before the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
She writes, “Mitch McConnell knows that Trump incited a violent attack on the Capitol and then 'happily watched on TV' as his mob brutally beat police officers and cornered the vice president.”
“He knows that for hours, Trump refused to tell the rioters to leave, and continued to repeat lies about the election and praise criminals even as police officers bled.”
“He knows Trump has committed a 'disgraceful dereliction of duty' and is a danger to our Republic. Trump and his allies will be defeated and history will remember the shame of those who enabled them, like @LeaderMcConnell.”
Cheney was one of two Republicans, along with Adam Kinzinger, who served on the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 attacks.
