This action-packed two-day event has seen significant growth since its inception in 2014.
“In terms of attendance, Mississippi Comic Con has grown every year,” said Jay Branch of VX Events, “When we started in 2014, we had 1,500 attendees, and by 2023, we were at over 15,000. The show has grown in size and now occupies the entire Trade Mart and Coliseum. We've also gained more national exposure. Vendors, artists, and even celebrities are eager to be a part of the show, which is a dramatic change from when we first started.”
It's not just the attendees who have fun, but the graciousness of Mississippians means celebrities and vendors have a good time, too.
“Mississippi Comic Con is known for its family atmosphere and the kindness of its attendees. Our celebrities and vendors always say that everyone at the event is so friendly, not just on the show grounds but throughout the city. You can be sure you'll be well treated if you attend our event,” Branch said.
Advance tickets for Mississippi Comic Con can be purchased online or at the gate on the day. Children under 10 are free with paying adult admission. Celebrity meet-and-greets cost extra. Prices and other information can be found here.
