Miley Cyrus said she doesn't have an “active role” in showbiz, doesn't feel like she has a place in Hollywood, and confessed that she doesn't have any famous friends.
Miley Cyrus has spoken openly about her inability to be friends with famous people, saying, “I feel like they're not my kind of people.”
Unlike many stars who surround themselves with glamorous celebrity friends, Miley prefers to fill her social circle with old friends.
During an episode of “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” Miley said, “I'm not very active or involved in the community of other artists, entertainers, or celebrities.”

But there are a few exceptions to her rule, one of which is Beyoncé, and Miley admitted that she often feels out of place surrounded by legendary stars.
She confessed: “I'm really small and I have acne and I have braces on the back of my teeth and I'm standing next to Mariah Carey in all her diamonds and Beyoncé was so nice to me.”
During the same interview, Miley also shared some interesting details about her relationship with her godmother, Dolly Parton, 78. She revealed how Dolly guided her ahead of her now-iconic performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she wowed the crowd with her hit song, “Flowers.”
She recalls: “[Dolly] “She's not afraid to have difficult conversations. The difficult conversation I had with her was, 'I'm not sure if I should go to the Grammys.'”
She said, “And she said, 'Of course you're going to be at the Grammys. Not just attending, but showing off. And you're going to be all of that, sitting in front of me right now.'”
Miley followed her advice and delivered an impressive performance of Flowers that night, winning Best Pop Solo and Record of the Year. The 31-year-old also spoke about how Dolly has influenced other areas of her life.
Miley, who has previously stated her decision not to have children, revealed in a recent interview that she respects her mentor and godmother, Dolly, for this choice.
“I like being grown up. I have a rule that I never look up or down on anybody. I just look and I see the world as it is and people as they are,” Miley elaborated.
