Prince William celebrated his 42nd birthday on Friday at a Taylor Swift concert in London with his two eldest children, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9.
Members of the British royal family were in attendance at Wembley Stadium as Swift, 34, kicked off the European leg of her “The Eras Tour.”
The three commemorated the night by taking selfies with Swift and thanked her in an Instagram post on the official account of Prince Charles and Princess Charles.
“Thank you @taylorswift for an amazing night!” her caption on Saturday read.
Swift also posted a photo to Instagram on Saturday of members of the royal family and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, all smiling in the picture.
“Happy Birthday M8! The London show is off to a great start,” Swift's caption read.
Prince William's attendance at “The Eras Tour” didn't go unnoticed by Swift fans, some of whom shared a video of him dancing to “Shake It Off” on TikTok.
Neither the Duchess of Cambridge nor six-year-old Prince Louis performed at the concert. Kate, 42, made her first public appearance at the Trooping the Colour Parade since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this month.
Kate shared details of her recovery in an Instagram post the day before the parade, saying her chemotherapy treatment is “progressing well.”
“I am looking forward to attending the King's Birthday Parade with my family this weekend and hope to attend some public events over the summer, but at the same time, I know we're not out of the woods yet,” the caption read. “I am learning how to be patient, especially in times of uncertainty. I am taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this time I need to heal.”
Representatives for Kensington Palace, Swift and Kelsey did not immediately respond to Business Insider's requests for comment.
