Who would you cast as Haymitch in the upcoming Hunger Games movie?
Haymitch was a fan-favorite character even before the original Hunger Games movie came out. He often added levity to the series through his interactions with Effie, and he cut through the drama well. Then with Woody Harrelson playing him, things got even better. This actor set a high bar, so who could carry on his incredible legacy? Everyone from Nicholas Galitzine to Mike Feist has named their favorite young actor, but how convincingly can they play a teenager? It may be up for debate, but I vote for finding an unknown actor. I think this is usually very effective when casting directors take the time to look for new young talent. What do you think?
Do you prefer a “premium” theater experience like IMAX, 3D, or Dolby?
Premium theater experiences like IMAX, Dolby, and even 3D for some movies seem to be more popular than ever. Personally, I go to IMAX screenings when I have the chance, especially with the benefit of AMC and their A-List subscription. I tend to avoid 3D screenings unless it's a movie that's really made for that experience, like the Avatar series, but most of the time it feels like a lazy afterthought. I'm lucky enough to live near a 70mm IMAX screen, so movies like Dune 2, Oppenheimer, and the upcoming Joker really shine. What do you think about premium experiences? Are they too expensive? Don't care about the bigger screen and enhanced sound? Or do you just not go to the theater at all and wait for the movies to be streamed, guaranteed, a month after the movie premieres?
Do you trust viewer ratings anymore?
In recent years, works such as “She-Hulk: Attorney” and “Acolyte” have generated a lot of controversy due to how their low audience scores seem like targeted harassment, and they are often slammed on Rotten Tomatoes before the series even airs. It is fair to say that these shows have some negative aspects, but in recent years, many have tried to weaponize the audience scores of various shows and movies. Do you still trust the audience scores? Are there any signs to look out for when reading the audience scores compared to critics? If not, how do you decide whether to watch a series or movie? Is there a way to fix the audience score system?
Who should be part of the MCU's new Avengers team?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe's team, the Avengers, was very clearly defined in the Infinity Saga, but everyone is asking who the new Avengers team will be in the upcoming Avengers 5. With the mix of legacy heroes and new faces introduced in Phases 4 and 5, who would you like to have on the main Avengers team? Which combination of characters makes the most sense in terms of coming together as a team, and what would create the most interesting group dynamic?
A live-action Digimon movie could be the next blockbuster franchise Hollywood needs
Digimon has always been a less popular rival to Pokémon in the 1990s, but the series has expanded its story and may be easier to adapt into a feature film than Pokémon or other popular anime. With a continuous story with a clear beginning and end and a focus on the various characters that lead the series, Digimon lends itself to a feature film. Now is the perfect time to bring Digimon to the big screen as a live-action film, as it's nearly 30 years since the series premiered. It could be as big a hit as the Transformers movies of the 2000s. Even a teaser trailer with just the theme song would be enough to get the audience excited.
