In a video message, Carlson said his “Tucker Carlson Live” tour will take him and friends across the country performing a live stage show that responds to everything happening in politics in real time.
“Tensions will rise in the U.S. this fall as we approach the presidential election,” Carlson said.
Carlson said the tour is “going to be a blast.”

Why is this important: In a video announcing the tour, Carlson said tickets for the tour are “guaranteed to sell out.”
Tickets were first sold in advance to Tucker Carlson Network members, and then to the general public on June 14.
A quick look at the tour dates above reveals that there are tons of tickets left for the shows: For the first date in Arizona, tickets are selling for prices ranging from $54.75 to $264.75, with a few floor tickets remaining and seats in all available sections still sold.
The tour has garnered attention and criticism from several media outlets, including CNN, which said Ticketmaster was “profiting off his hateful rhetoric.” Live Nation Entertainment Co., Ltd. LYVA ticket agency that owns the company that sells tickets for the tour.
Carlson's tour comes about a year after he left Fox News in April 2023. His departure came just days after Fox settled a defamation lawsuit against Dominion Voting Systems Inc. for $787.5 million in which the company was accused of promoting conspiracy theories about voting systems used in the 2020 presidential election.
Carlson's tour comes at a time when political commentary is at its peak ahead of the 2024 presidential election. The failure to sell out the tour dates may indicate that Carlson's influence may not be as great directly as it is on social media.
