Paris Fashion Week Men's takes place every June and January, showcasing menswear collections for the upcoming season.
Only a select few industry professionals, including journalists, buyers, celebrities and top clients, are invited to this exclusive event, which takes place every two years.
Victoria Brynner, founder of Stardust Brands, the luxury fashion industry's leading celebrity casting agency, shares her behind-the-scenes experience of working as a “Hollywood fashion broker.”
A principal advisor to prestigious brands such as Chanel, Dior and Balenciaga, Victoria is the driving force behind some of the most notable celebrity brand deals and advertising campaigns of recent years.
Johnny Depp is the face of Dior's Sauvage, and thanks to the handsome actor, Sauvage has been ranked as the world's best-selling fragrance for several years.
Victoria brought Anne Hathaway to Lancôme, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio to TAG Heuer, and Catherine Deneuve to Louis Vuitton.
In 2015, she teamed up with Pat McGrath to launch her eponymous cosmetics line, which is now worth $1 billion.
She's the ultimate Hollywood connector and a capable businesswoman.
Her role at Fashion Week is a little different than most.
Unlike buyers who spot trends and strategically plan their purchases for the next season, Victoria doesn't just focus on the catwalk.
“It's about people and building relationships with fashion editors, art directors and top clients,” she said.
“It helps me understand the creative direction, what's going on in fashion, what models are being showcased and what will be featured in the store later on.”
“Understanding the DNA of the brand and the strategy of who you choose for your campaign is just as important as what content you create from fashion week.”
Off the runway, Victoria can't help but people watch.
“I love observing the style of the attendees, how celebrities behave, and how photographers capture their shots while noting every detail of the décor.”
Bad Bunny attended the Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2025 menswear show on June 21 in a cream pantsuit and matching handbag.
Joining him and looking super chic was supermodel Kate Moss, who wore leggy grey shorts, a black top and matching pointy-toed heels.
As well as the fashion, Victoria also pays attention to the many details that go into a show, such as the seating, venue and lighting.
Seating at a runway show is very important, with front row tickets being given to those with the most influence over the brand.
The paid celebrities always sit in the front row, while others compete for seats as close as possible to the catwalk.
Following the conclusion of the first day of menswear shows in Paris, Pharrell Williams, men's creative director for Louis Vuitton, attended the Kenzo presentation.
He was spotted shaking hands with Puerto Rican singer Ozuna front and center.
“Once the show starts, I take note of the overall energy and then start marking out what I think will be the highlights of the collection. I then go through slides of each outfit to look at them in more detail.”
With a packed itinerary, Victoria prepares for each day like a pro.
“I drink a lot of coffee and water from 8 to 10 a.m.,” she says.
“I have a meeting at 10:30, then lunch, then I mix in business meetings and shows, then spend the majority of the day shopping and exploring.”
“I always make sure to stop by the pharmacy, which has great beauty and homeopathic medicines.”
“Around 8:30-9pm we'll get changed and head back to the hotel for a dinner break.”
Back in her room, she takes a bath with Kneipp salts (natural bath salts designed to relax, restore and condition the skin) and drinks lots of Evian water.
“On our way to an evening event, we always make sure to take a sunset stroll at some of our favorite spots, like Pont Alexandre III or Les Invalides.”
The night usually ends around midnight.
Victoria told the Daily Mail that in preparation for the week, she packed one large Rimowa suitcase and one Rimowa trunk with stylish day clothes, evening outfits and business attire for business meetings.
RIMOWA is a legendary travel goods manufacturer producing the finest suitcases.
Made from polycarbonate, it's lightweight and durable, and its sleek lines and distinctive grooves make it easy to identify at baggage claim.
“I travel with a large The Row Margaux, and I always carry a Louis Vuitton crossbody bag during the day and a smaller bag in the evening.
“I'm particularly loving Woolford's short sleeve mock turtleneck tee this season. It goes with everything!”
“I have a classic black and white striped skirt and a vintage Hermes belt and a vintage Chanel chain belt that I love to dress up in.”
“For shoes, I'll bring black flats and Louboutin heels in black and nude colors that will go with skirts and dresses.
“My favorite travel outfit is Isabel Marant, and this year Mackintosh's navy peacoat-style raincoat has been a lifesaver!”
Her toiletry bag contains all her skin care essentials, including face serums, moisturizers, and tinted sunscreen.
She leaves most of her hair care products at home and says, “In France, hairdressers are in every neighborhood, they're really good and it's easy to get an appointment.”
No trip to Paris is complete without enjoying some fine dining.
In the City of Lights, Victoria, the preference is for “grilled flounder, green beans, plain berries and lots of Evian. It's clean, it's tasty and it's available almost everywhere.”
She recommends visiting La Poule au Pot at 9 Rue Vauvilliers.
“It's a very cozy place, the food is delicious, the lighting is beautiful, it's quiet and it's a hidden gem where you can enjoy traditional haute French cuisine by renowned chef Jean-François Piège.”
Victoria recommends Hotel Plaza for drinks.
Hotel Plaza Athénée is one of the most iconic luxury 5-star hotels, located opposite the Eiffel Tower.
After a long week, agents can unwind with a relaxing treatment at the Dior Spa at the Plaza or Cheval Blanc.
