Our favorite musicians, actors, and all-around hottest stars gathered at the star-studded 2024 BET Awards on June 30. From Oscar nominees Colman Domingo and Taraji P. Henson (who also hosted the ceremony) to chart-topping artists like Tinashe and Tyra, the red carpet was packed with celebs.

Among them was Usher, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award that night.
“It certainly wasn't easy getting here, but it was worth it,” Usher began his speech. “I didn't write anything down because I wanted to keep this moment just as it was. — I want to express how I feel in this moment and the gratitude I have for all those involved in this tonight and for the 30-plus year career I am celebrating.”
“This lifetime achievement award — “I don't know, maybe it's too early to accept it because I'm still on the run and shooting guns,” the “My Boo” singer added. “I still love the song. [was] I am 8 years old.”
Other winners on the night included SZA for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Kendrick Lamar for Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Tyra for Best New Artist and Angel Reese, who won Sportswoman of the Year.
