A butterfly-shaped home in East Hampton, New York, owned by celebrity hairstylist Sally Hershberger, is on the market for $2.995 million, according to Sotheby's International Realty.
Hershberger's clients include actors, celebrities and politicians, most recently Jill Biden, whose hair he styled for the cover of Vogue magazine earlier this week.
The two-bedroom home is uniquely stylish, featuring classic midcentury design elements, including open spaces, clean lines, vaulted wood-paneled ceilings and a light interior that contrasts with the black exterior.

Built in 1976, the home's distinctive butterfly-like appearance comes from its V-shape, with two winged roofs that meet at the spine. Inside, a spiral staircase culminates and connects the two sides of the home. At 2,300 square feet, the home offers ample outdoor deck space, a basement with laundry room and one-car garage, plus additional parking space outside the home.

Situated on a one-acre lot, the home is just minutes from the ocean and offers plenty of privacy and a private 42-foot pool. The spacious grounds are planted with native plants and lush lawns.
Cathy Conzett of Sotheby's International Realty Bridgehampton Brokers, who listed the property for sale in late June, declined to comment for this story, and Hershberger could not immediately be reached for comment.
A limited liability company linked to Hershberger bought the home in May for $1.46 million, according to Suffolk County property records. It wasn't immediately clear why she sold it so soon after buying it and asked for double the price. Sotheby's said the owner made “numerous changes that accentuate the architecture” but did not provide details.
The East Hamptons home is just one of the stylist's properties: She has previously owned or lived in a West Village penthouse (reportedly sold to Jennifer Anison), a one-bedroom in Chelsea, and a property in the Trousdale neighborhood of Beverly Hills.
