Losing a pet leaves a deep hole in your heart, and many celebrities have experienced this. Anne CurtisJohn Arcilla and Christian Babblez These are just some of the pet owners who have had to say goodbye to their pet babies recently.
Let's celebrate Pet Day and celebrate the love of pets and their owners who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Anne Curtis
On July 1st last year, Curtis said goodbye to his cat Mogwai, reflecting on the 11 years he had lived with the pet as if it were family.
“On a rainy Sunday afternoon, almost 11 years after he became a part of our family, our beloved Mogwai crossed the Rainbow Bridge,” she said, showing a photo of her embracing Mogwai.
“He'll always be my little gremlin. Sweet dreams, Grampa,” she added. “We will miss him.”
John Arcilla
June was a difficult month for Alzira, as his two dogs, Manman and Twinsy, passed away in quick succession. Manman was 13 and Twinsy was 17 at the time of their deaths.
“Ten years ago I had a total of 15 pets across three generations. I grew up with dogs all my life, but one by one they are leaving me behind,” he lamented.
“As a child, I never imagined there would come a time when, as our friends and family slowly left us, I would feel like I had lost everyone, including these fur babies who loved me unconditionally and were meant to be my companions,” he said.
Christian Babblez
Bubbles' dog of seven years, named Hope, died on June 15. A few days later, Bubbles demanded an apology from the pet crematorium that handled her dog's body, claiming her pet had been treated like a “market pig.”
The pet crematorium offered Bubbles an apology, which he accepted.
“Mahal na mahal kita, Hope.” She was so excited when she saw the film for the first time. I believe it. “Paalam anak,” the actor wrote.
Lovi Poe
Last February, Lovi Poe had to say goodbye to her 17-year-old dog, Phoebe. According to the actress, she was initially given six months to live, but “she exceeded all expectations.”
“Phoebe, run free now and fly around the clouds. Sending all my love and kisses to my other precious angels Ross, Chibby, Chubby and Seth,” she said of her other pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Sanya Lopez
Sanya Lopez also lost her beloved dog, Mackie, in February, and at the time she stressed that although they had only been together for a short time, the happiness he brought her will remain with her forever.
“We are focused on talking about our lives.” “Mahal na mahal ka namin,” she told her dog. “You will be in our hearts forever. Run free, my darling Mackie!”
