British author and presenter Richard Osman has slammed prominent political figures, urging them to stop expressing political opinions because “no one is listening to you”.
Several Hollywood stars, including George Clooney and Rob Reiner, have called for President Joe Biden to step down in recent weeks following his shaky performance last month against President Donald Trump in the first 2024 presidential debate.
“I truly believe that in every election here and in America, showbiz comes into play, hearing from celebrities and hearing the weight of their opinions on the records of different candidates and the direction of the country they live in,” Osman, 53, said on his show recently.
