The Hong Kong Book Fair attracts authors, celebrities and academics: here's what to do, see and eat here
The 34th Hong Kong Book Fair will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai from July 17 to 23, with a focus on film and television literature.
This year's fair will be held in conjunction with the Sports & Leisure Expo and the World of Snacks Expo, with a combined total of 760 vendors.

Seminar
Various seminars will be held, with the participation of well-known writers, scholars, celebrities, and experts. Some of the seminars require prior registration.

July 17: Film producer and director Wu Se-won and writer Sun Chai-hsing, 3:30pm to 5pm in conference rooms S423-424

July 17: Singer Remus Choy Yat Kit will speak on personal development and spiritual growth from 11 to 11:45 a.m. in Conference Room S428.

July 20: Chinese novelist Jin Yucheng. Flowers Blooma lecture by literary historian Xu Zidong will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Hall 5G.

The Art Gallery will display manuscripts and diplomas from renowned authors such as Joyce Chan Wan Man and Raymond To Kwok-wai, as well as props from the films they inspired. The “Classic Adaptations” section will highlight the interplay between text and visual media through the display of film and TV adaptations of classic literary works, while “Spotlight Directors” will showcase the creative vision of renowned directors who have brought literary works to the screen.

A World of Arts and Culture showcases art, film, television and literature from Hong Kong and around the world through a variety of mediums, including interactive maps and artificial intelligence installations, as well as a miniature model of Kowloon Walled City.

In the Sports Hub section, you can test your physical abilities on the moving rope zip line course organised by the Hong Kong Playground Association or try your hand at the Ninja Obstacle Race experience.

The Hong Kong Sports Institute displays medals loaned by local athletes.
