In a Twitter survey conducted between June 1st and 30th, gay men in South Korea were asked to vote for their favorite male celebrity.
A total of 242 valid responses were collected, and based on the voting results, actor Son Seok-gu was chosen as the most popular celebrity among gay men. With 3.51% of the votes, Son Seok-gu also ranked first in the same poll in 2023. In 2022, he ranked first in the first half of the year, but dropped to second place in the second half.
Next, the actor Lee Jun-hyuk came in second with 3.35% of the votes. The actor had ranked third in the same poll in 2023.
Coming in third was actor Jung Hae-in, who received 3.21% of the votes. Notably, Jung Hae-in was ranked first alongside Son Seok-gu in the same poll in 2023.
Former Judo World Champion Ahn Chang-rim came in fourth with 2.96% of the votes, while two other celebrities, TOMORROW x TOGETHER's Soo Bin and Nam Joo Hyuk, took fifth place. In sixth place was Wi Ha Joon with 2.26% of the votes.
Next, 17 years oldMingyu and Seo Kang-jun from Morning Musume and Shin-yu from TWS each received 1.87% of the votes, coming in seventh place.
8th place is TWS member Dohoon In 9th place was actor Ha Seok-jin. Finally, the Taiwanese actor Xu Guanghan It ranked 10th with 1.33% of the votes.
Other celebrities in the top 20 include: Lee Jin-wook, Astroof Cha Eun-woo, Kim Min-kyu, Son Heung-min, Lee Do HyunTXT Yeonjun, Kang Tae Oh, Byun Woo Seok, Lieseof SongchanRIIZE Won Binmore.
